It's time for our annual Church Picnic! Join us on the campus of Fresno Pacific University for worship, fellowship, food, and fun! We’ll gather at 10:00 am, with an outdoor worship service, followed by our annual waterballoon toss, and a potluck picnic lunch. All are welcome!

What to Bring
Bring your family, friends, and a dessert or large side dish to share!
Other things you may want to bring: sunscreen, lawn chairs, blankets, swimsuits, table games, water bottles, comfy shoes, hats, smiling faces, & anything you need to make your picnic dreams come true!

Protector solar, tumbonas, mantas, juegos de mesa, botellas de agua, calzado cómodo, gorros, toallas y ropa de agua para los niños (¡habrá toboganes hinchables!), caras sonrientes y todo lo que necesites para hacer realidad tus sueños de picnic.
Outdoor Worship Service
Our worship service will be outdoors under the tress of Alumni Plaza starting at 10:00am. Come a little early to drop off your potluck dish, greet each other, and grab a seat in the shade! (There will also be a 9:00AM Faith Community service at Butler, as usual.)
This year our worship will be led by our Asian Grace congregation, and there will be child dedications, a missions highlight and prayer, and inspirational message by Pastor Elbio.
Picnic Lunch
We'll BBQ up some hotdogs & have plates and drinks ready! You bring the rest! Please remember to bring a large side dish to share. Ideas: Salads, fruit, veggies & chips. Desserts are are welcome, too! There will be some tables and chairs to gather around, or you may want to bring a picnic blanket and/or chairs to relax on the grass.
Activities
It's been our tradition to have a waterballoon tossing contest just before lunch! Team up with a partner and be prepared to get a little wet; if your balloon breaks, you'll be out! The last team remaining is the winner!
Other activities have included fútbol (soccer!), volleyball, water activities, and table games. Feel free to bring along a game you'd like to play, too!
There will also be a waterslide inflatable for big and little kids!
We'll have that going after lunch. So, be sure to bring along swimsuits or a change of clothes, and a towel in case they want to join in.
Location
Fresno Pacific University is a short walk from Butler Church. Parking will be available at church, along Heaton Ave, and as designated on the FPU campus. If you will need extra assistance making your way over, just let us know ahead of time.
We will meet at Alumni Plaza under the trees, next to the large grass area. Drop off your potluck dish nearby, drop off any picnic items at a table or on the green, and then find a seat in the shade for our outdoor service. A larger, more detailed campus map is available here.
